As Head of User Centred Policy Design at the Ministry of Justice, Amanda leads a multi-disciplinary team with the mission to help policy and operational teams to be more user focused, to test ideas early and to use techniques from digital, data and design to solve complex problems.
Amanda has over a decade of experience in digital and data; working at the intersection of people, culture and technology. She’s an experienced leader that takes an open, optimistic and inclusive approach to delivery with empathy, ethics and enthusiasm.
Amanda has advised C-Suite executives of Arup, Co-op, Deutsche Bank, Met Office Sport England, Syngenta, Thomson Reuters and the Governments of the UK, USA, Spain, Tanzania, Ukraine and Argentina, and led pan-European projects for the EU. She was the winner of the first Bloomberg WISE Open Technology award from HRH Princess Royal; and Apolitical named her in their Top 20 of their '100 future leaders: the World's most influential young people in Government'.
