There has been a significant rise in the connected classroom in recent years enabling colleges to connect with schools to provide additional support for curriculum and skills enhancement across a multitude of subjects and components.  Many institutions have taken the connected classroom an evolutionary step forward delivering teachers virtually into the classroom in a variety of ways, delivering immersive teaching to many locations at the same time providing significant new opportunities for learning communities. This approach differs significantly from the traditional method of university or college online teaching where students may work through course material independently and separately with limited real-time assistance.
