Geoff has over 17 years’ experience of working in the Youth Enterprise arena. Before joining Young Enterprise Scotland (YES) he spent 14 years with the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT). This included 8 years of regional responsibility before joining the senior management team and going on to serve as Director. One of his key objectives since joining YES was to develop a new Programme to develop entrepreneurship activity across the Further Education sector – Bridge 2 Business.
In addition to his current role with Young Enterprise Scotland Geoff has served as a Non-Executive Director with the Economic Development Association of Scotland (EDAS) and has also been a regular commentator on the Glasgow Herald website within the business section. He was awarded the Great Britain Entrepreneurial Champion Silver Award 2015 and was recently shortlisted by the Herald Society as Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2016.
