I was educated locally and begun working as an apprentice electrician for the local NHS. Through this I was taught at the old Dumfries and Galloway College campus based across town from our current campus
I joined Dumfries and Galloway College in 2016 as the Facilities Manager and moved up into the role of Head of Corporate Services in June 2018. My current role has given me the opportunity to have more of an influence on the direction of the College, a large part of which centres around the South of Scotland Digital Skills and Learning Partnership.

Away from work I have 2 young children who dominate my time. I do enjoy my football, I am a Queen of the South supporter, and when I get the chance I do like to educate the kids in the joys of supporting Queens
