Gillian Easson is co-founding Director of Creative Dundee, which started life as a side project and has always been about connecting people with better opportunities. Gillian’s background is working with creative business start-ups, design innovation processes, and developing open source ways of working. Gillian was Development Manager with Nesta from 2006 – 2013 managing projects including: Starter for 6, Peer Mentoring, the Creative Enterprise Toolkit, an international train the trainer programme, a social enterprise programme for people leaving the workforce, and a Digital R&D Fund for the arts and culture sector. Gillian has worked with a number of national/international organisations to develop and share collective thinking on the value and role of clusters, hubs and networks.
