After having joined Scottish Enterprise in 1991 Jim was appointed Partnerships Director in March 2016 following six years as Director of Stakeholders and Networks and a number of years previous to that as the Director for Regional Support in the West of Scotland and the Operations Director for Scottish Enterprise in Ayrshire. In his current role Jim is responsible for the organisations overall approach to Regional Partnership delivery and engagement and a range of associated functions that cover Scottish Enterprise’s engagement with Parliamentarians, work with Scotland’s Local Authorities and Community Planning Partnerships and a wide ranging group of National and Regional Industry Organisations. Jim is Scottish Enterprise’s senior contact for a number of key Stakeholders and Regional and Local Partnerships and currently sits on the interim Board of the Scottish Centre for Regional Economic Growth.
