Morag Angus is Chief Surveyor at the Scottish Government and heads a team of experienced Chartered Surveyors advising Ministers, policy-makers across the public sector and public bodies on property matters. Morag joined Scottish Government four years ago and is Head of Profession for Chartered Surveyors in Scottish Government. She has extensive public sector experience and has also worked with a number of third sector bodies. She co-wrote a Guide for Landowners on leasing to community bodies in Scotland, sits on the Scottish Government Place Board and is qualified in writing and reviewing business cases. Morag jointly regulates the SG Property Controls and is a Gateway Reviewer. She has been a Chartered Surveyor for over 20 years. Property Division gives high-quality professional property advice on a wide range of issues including acquisitions, asset management, disposals, and property policy across the public sector and manages the Scottish Government’s own estate.
