Colin Hastie is an Owner and Director at Bruach Design and Consultancy, an architecture and BIM consultancy practice based in Clydebank. He is a qualified architect with a passion for digital innovation in construction and the built environment. He is currently the BIM Technical Consultant for Construction Scotland Innovation Centre, and regularly delivers training and seminars on BIM across Scotland. Colin is a member of the RIBA, RIAS, ARB, APS, is a BIM Member of the BRE Academy, and was one of the first people in Scotland to be recognised by the BRE as a “BIM Certified Practitioner”, specifically in Project Information Management. He also lectures on the Built Environment at City of Glasgow College, and is a Professional Studies Adviser in the Department of Architecture at the University of Strathclyde.
