Unprecedented challenges for health leaders
The Conference is designed for C-suite level executives across NHS Scotland, government and third sectors to take part in a series of focused discussions on the operational and digital challenges brought about by COVID-19.

How did our public sector leaders respond, what lessons were learned and what will this mean for the future of technology-led health and care.

Future Service delivery – turning rhetoric into a liveable reality

The conference is designed to analyse organisational readiness and resilience, workforce skills and preparedness, project complexity, supplier compliance and information governance.

We will reflect on what the pandemic means for future service delivery, by exploring the capacity demands faced by health and care ICT teams and what role technology will play in reshaping the way these services are consumed.

Virtual experience
We invite you to join us on an exciting, dynamic and engaging new virtual platform which will provide an unrivalled delegate experience.

This year, we are going virtual, but our conference objectives remain the same: to bring about meaningful change in the way public and health services are designed and delivered, by connecting stakeholders in open forums where new ideas can be exchanged and discussed.

FutureScot have chosen the EICC MiE Live virtual platform to deliver this year’s Health and Care Conference. Simply, when we return to running live conferences, we will do so at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).

Returning to live and hybrid conferences

In the interim as soon as Government guidance allows, we will pivot to delivering  our conferences in a hybrid format with the number of delegates being dictated by distancing guidance.

The major reason for so many virtual conferences not delivering for delegates is the lack of event management and briefing of speakers and exhibitors. The wrap round support that FutureScot and The EICC offer our speakers and delegates is unrivalled.

As a valued sponsor when you sign up you will be allocated an event manager who will take your hand and walk you through every aspect of the conference.

Senior and well informed delegates from across NHS Scotland and the public sector

Our delegates are senior and well-informed executives from NHS Scotland’s Regional Health Boards, the Golden Jubilee Foundation, NHS Education, NHS24, NHS NSS, the Scottish Ambulance Service and the State Hospitals. We will also welcome attendees from the Scottish Government and other health organisations,  including the General Medial Council, Healthcare improvement Scotland, Mental Welfare Commission and Innovations Centres such as the Scottish Health Innovations Ltd and the Digital health Institute.
