Rohan is head of product at NDS, a team within NHS Scotland building national health and care data infrastructure and products. Rohan has more than fifteen years’ experience in a range of technology and innovation roles in public, private and non-profit sectors. Previous roles include innovation lead for the Edinburgh Festivals, social innovation for Nesta and public sector business change for Accenture. Rohan also a deep expertise in the intersection of wellbeing, technology and design and is well known as the creator of buddhify, the best-selling mindfulness app and host of the popular podcast Meditative Story.

Dr Winter has been a clinical e-health lead in NHS Greater Glasgow since 2015 working closely with the e-Health team to help transform clinical engagement and leadership. He is a member of the first cohort of the NHS Digital Academy and was elected a Fellow of the Faculty of Informatics in August 2018. By background a sexual health and HIV specialist, he has worked across community and acute settings and has led the digital transformation of sexual health services in Scotland since 2006.

His interests include clinical decision support, the clinical/diagnostics interface and safer management of results, and citizen-held records. His dream is to make using technology in the NHS or social care as easy, fun and normal as using technology at home.

David is a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and Co Director of EmQuire the QEUH ED Research Group. He leads a portfolio of projects centred on unscheduled care and specifically data, devices and decisions within this space. Collaborations include Glasgow, Strathclyde University, Glasgow School of Art, private and third sector, seeking to create innovative solutions that can create impactful and sustainable change. His research focuses on decision-making within acute care and the interface between data, the clinician and the patient. As the clinical lead for a SBRI data visualisation challenge, he is developing novel app based solutions with a number of commercial companies to support and enhance clinical decision-making.
