National Services Scotland
Speaker Bio
There is currently a massive focus on innovation and digital to deliver new and better services across all sectors. But how many of us are using digital to help shift our thinking, behaviours and ways of working to challenge how we do things, to create leaders for a digital age and to focus on enhancing the workforce (rather than replacing them) to enable them to be better at what they do?

Using the virtual environment QUBE to tackle local and national challenges, Tammy has facilitated teams to develop ideas, prototypes and solutions at pace. Through provision of new world tools and an immersive virtual environment, teams have shifted behaviours and old world practices (meetings, papers, emails) to properly collaborate, co-produce and deliver solutions together while foregoing meetings, papers and emails. In this digital age we really need to move from traditional work patterns and process and use digital to help us do things differently. On QUBE we call it “humanly digital”.

Dr Tammy Watchorn has, for the past 5 years, been working in the National Health Service in Scotland driving innovation, digital and change with a particular focus on exploring how we need to work in the digital age. Recently Tammy has become a freelancer enabling her to share the learning and new world approaches needed within organisations who are serious about embracing digital working
