Joanna Campbell is the Principal Designate for Dumfries and Galloway College. Her career in tertiary education has spanned 22 years firstly as a Lecturer in Computing then progressing into Senior Management with the most recent being Vice Principal of Student Experience at City of Glasgow. Prior to working at City of Glasgow, Joanna was Assistant Principal for Learning and Teaching at Fife College and Head of Department for Applied Science, Math and Computing at one of Scotland’s leading STEM Colleges, Forth Valley College. Joanna led the college to become the first STEM Assured College in Scotland and developed a number of skills-based degree programmes with University of Stirling, Heriot Watt and Strathclyde Universities. Joanna is the current Chair of the Digital Skills Partnership.
