Chief Superintendent Barry Blair currently oversees the Justice System Recovery work within Police Scotland and supports Justice Partners across the Renew, Recover, Transform (RRT) programme
As part of his role, he has responsibility for Police Scotland’s input and activity across priority RRT workstreams and key enabling transformation projects including the Digital Evidence Sharing Capability (DESC) programme.
Chief Superintendent Blair also supports the Scottish Government and Justice Partners to coordinate the wider RRT Programme objectives and chairs the National Virtual Custody working group and the National Productions Steering Group.
Prior to his current posting, Barry was the Partnership lead within Police Scotland’s Criminal Justice Services Division and has gained significant experience working in a wide variety of roles including Local Policing Area Commander, Public Protection; Public Order Command and Organisational Change Programmes.
