Nicky is passionate about the power of technology to drive health system transformation, to deliver better outcomes and services for populations and individuals. In her role as Head of Healthcare Public Policy (EMEA) at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Nicky supports policymakers and health system leaders around the world to realise their transformation goals by leveraging cloud technology. Prior to joining AWS in 2019, Nicky worked in the English National Health Service (NHS) for nine years in local hospital, regional commissioning and national regulator operational and strategic management roles. Most recently, she worked as Director of Policy Delivery and Chief of Staff for the Deputy Chief Executive of NHS England where she oversaw the implementation of service delivery and transformation across the NHS
